A little expensive but a really great location.
Positive: The location was excellent: five minutes walk to Boston Commons and the start of the Freedom Trail, close to restaurants, shops and everything we wanted to see. The kitchenette was modern and really helpful.
Negative: The description clearly stated that “The apartment features … washing machine … tumble dryer …” and was supposedly 60m2. I didn’t bring my tape measure but the functional space was definitely not 60m2 - and there was no washing machine and tumble dryer in the apartment and no signage stating that these are actually shared in the basement, so by the time we discovered this it was too late for us. The peeling paint in the ceiling of the bathroom was a minor disappointment, but the experience of watching a show on the apartment’s Netflix account early in the evening, pausing briefly and then not being able to resume Netflix for the rest of the evening because there were now too many viewers on the apartment’s account was frustrating. Finally, if you are a little frail and have heavy luggage then just be aware that you need to carry your luggage up a flight of stairs before you get to the elevator.

Our stay was ok.
Positive: I liked how close it was to all the sights in Boston. I also liked the convenience of the refrigerator and other appliances.
Negative: The air in the room seemed stagnant and warm at times and the bed was not extremely comfortable. I really find the check in and check out times to be unreasonable. Our flight landed at 8:30am and we could not check in until 5pm and our flight departed at 8:30pm and we had to check out by 10:00am, for this reason I would not go with DownTown Central Studio again nor recommend to my friends or colleagues.

Buena
Positive: Nunca supe que había desayuno, la información tendrá que ser más transparente
Negative: Qué hay escaleras enormes al llegar y sólo hasta el segundo piso puede accederse al elevador. Me costó mucho trabajo manipular mi equipaje.

Superb Location. Downtown Crossing.
Great Access to MTBA, also very walkable to nearly anywhere in the city. Easy check-in. South Station about 4-5 blocks. MTBA within about 300 feet. Roche Brothers for your Groceries, Chinatown for your restaurants.
I would recommend this location to anyone wanting to explore the city sans car.

Great location, some issues
The location is ideal and close to everything we needed. The homeless population hanging out by the entrance was a little frightening, especially returning late from a Red Sox game. They were also VERY loud - we might not have heard them so much, except we had to open the window at night due to the broken A/C. Upon arriving, we noticed the smoke detector beeped every 1 minute for low battery. I immediately notified property management (5:15ish), but unfortunately they didn’t have on call staff to replace the battery. We had to purchase a battery and replace it. They did say we would be reimbursed, but have not yet seen this come through. Additionally, the air was not functional for our trip. The unit remained 74-75 degrees for the duration. I did communicate with management multiple times, but they were not able to get it working. Management was super responsive to messages, which I appreciated, however, they didn’t remediate any of our issues.
Good to know
