I do not recommend this rental. Ive rented spaces for over 15 years and have never had such a terrible experience. We rented because of location in the city, description, 2 bedroom.and photos. There are multiple failures in the rental with the primaries being location on street/alley that is extremely noisy (club partiers from 10pm-3am, car alarms, engines raving and police activity; bedroom that is”open” ceiling to the upstairs living space and street activity to include smoke coming in from street; and 1 bathroom with no cleaning supplies provided. The lobby and laundry are filthy. The toaster set off the fire alarm. The air circulation is horrible with the whole place being sticky and uncomfortable. (with fans and split unit on). The furniture is broken (bench), no seating for 4 in living room, the place looks unkept with dented appliances, and past use cookware. I’m shocked they can be allowed to advertise for traveling nurses..there is no way you could live here and sleep to perform a critical nursing job. I would never bring children/elderly here as the levels in the home are steep and hazardous. This listing should be removed. Do not rent.

If you’re a nurse, just looking for a place to crash between shifts, this works. But for a family of 4 to vacation, wouldn’t recommend. There is only 1 bathroom with no counter or shelf space to place things. There’s not a lot of lounging space after a long day of sight seeing. The apartment could definitely use some TLC with paint, caulk, and grout. And tour buses were parked outside all week for the venue down the street which was loud at night and smelled of diesel in the apt.

Perfect location to enjoy the theaters and Chinatown. Positive: Location is exceptional. Close to everything, e.g., train station, T stops, theaters, Boston Commons, restaurants. Easy walk to other places of interest. Negative: The only bathroom is downstairs and I have bad knees, so it that was uncomfortable.

Just as described

A perfect little hideaway close to Boston adventures

Convenient location in downtown Boston

Great convenient location in downtown Boston, walkable or easy T access to many attractions. Unit was very clean and accurately described and shown on VRBO. It should be noted that it can get noisy at night on weekends when crowds for the Night Club next door line up in front of the apartment waiting to be admitted and strong bass can be heard while open as mentioned in other reviews.
